SOPHIE (Wellbeing & Performance)
TV Personality, Presenter, Speaker
Sophie Browne is a 27-year-old speaker and presenter using her unique experiences both professionally and personally to uplift others. From navigating the spotlight on Channel4’s Married at First Sight to breaking into the male dominated tech industry at just 18, to the highs and excitement of growing a huge online community to dealing with the challenging world of opinions and fake stories from tabloids. Sophie’s story is one of resilience, hard work, determination, and transformation.
Starting her career as the only woman in an all-male sales team, she carved out a successful eight-year trajectory in tech where she championed women’s advancement, leading the ‘Women in Tech’ group supporting her female colleagues through salary negotiation training and career mentorship. Diagnosed with ADHD at 26, she found clarity in her time from School having won awards as a model pupil in year 7, to struggling with her behaviour and being on report by year 11. Since her diagnoses, she’s developed a new understanding and capacity to connect with others dealing with neurodiversity in education and the world of work.
We know how important role models are for young people, something Sophie never felt like she had in her childhood. Her experience growing up without this has instilled a fierce passion for supporting and inspiring students, especially young girls, in school. Having already delivered talks and workshops across the UK, it’s her goal to continue to instil strong values and education around confidence, career, neurodiversity and the challenging world of social media.
